Overview of the course
Follow a 100% dedicated course to film and media scoring and become a composer for film, TV, Video games, and live stage events.
EICMI offers a 3-year curriculum (Bachelor 1, 2, and 3) created to provide you with a solid theoretical foundation and an immersive practical experience. You will evolve in a stimulating professional environment, directly in contact with composers, directors, sound designers, and other key figures in the music and audiovisual industries.
Bachelor 1
Fundamentals
During the first year, you will learn the basics of music composition for the screen and develop your skills in harmony, counterpoint, orchestration, and musical analysis.
You will participate in sound design, computer-assisted composition, and collaborative practical workshops.
Bachelor 2
In-Depth Studies
During the second year, you will strengthen your knowledge and develop more in-depth skills.
You will perform in-depth media music analysis, produce your own mock-ups, explore sound design, and begin studying orchestra direction.
Bachelor 3
Pre-specialization
The third year will be geared toward helping you become a professional. You will define your artistic identity, produce a final project, and complete an internship in a professional setting.
You will also explore advanced techniques from jazz to video games and metaverse interactive music.
